Any fish under 15’’ you lose that fish and your largest fish. We will make sure we move and alternate how the fish is laying on the measuring board to make sure we hit the 15” line best as possible. If we can’t hit the 15” line we will offer to one of the fishermen to get out of your boat to show us if you can hit the 15” line.
It is the fishermans responsibility to tell the scalemaster to weigh a big fish, not the scale master's responsibility.
Walleye Only. (NO SAUGERS) if a team is caught with a sauger your team will be disqualified!
Winners will be determined by the greatest total weight of Walleye.
(In case of a tie, the team that weighed in the earliest wins.)
Limit of 4 fish per boat
We encourage Catch and Release
Live weight will not apply in this tournament (There's no penalty for dead fish)
We will be weighing fish along the break wall in the harbor. Please stay in single file order as you’re coming in! We will be handing out 4 baskets at a time. Also please put your boat number in your basket with the fish. Please watch the boats ahead of you so you know when you should be putting your fish in your box to help keep your fish alive as long as possible! Both fishermen need to stay in their boat unless we ask one of the fishermen to get out. Also wait aside of the wall until you get your weight slip, then please start moving forward to the landing dock to let off your partner to get your truck so we can keep the line moving!
All boats must check in at the end of the west dock before weighing in their fish. Please return your boat number with your fish at the weigh-in. If you don't have fish, you must return the boat number at the weigh-in station or to the check-in person at the west end of the dock by the lake, regardless. This ensures all boats are safe and accounted for. If boat numbers are not returned, $10 will be deducted from the payout for each missing boat number.
Boats must fish on Lake Winnebago, NO RIVERS, UPPER LAKES, AND CREEKS
We will not allow any teams to switch out both captains for another new team to fish for them for that event at any point!
We will only allow one partner change no later than June 6th! One of the two Captains must still fish! We can’t guarantee a tee shirt for partner changes at any point!
To Guarantee your spot year to year! There must be one or both original captains that fish every year! If you pay for your entry but both captains can’t end up fishing the event you will still save your spot for the following year with the same captains only! As long as one of the main original captains keeps the spot they can sign up with one different partner if needed!
All entries are non refundable and we will not allow another team to take its place! Example if 50 boats sign up But only 48 boats fish, the payout will still be based on 50 boats!
In case of bad weather, the tournament will be held on sunday, June 29th
